Tanglewood is a neighborhood in Houston, Texas, located just off of San Felipe Road outside the 610 Loop and inside Beltway 8. It’s in the Uptown Houston area and was developed by the Tanglewood Corporation.
In 1997 Bob Tutt of the Houston Chronicle said that Tanglewood is “a leafy, upscale subdivision”. Tanglewood is the former residence of former President of the United States George H. W. Bush (he currently lives in a nearby subdivision).
