Stephen currently serves on the Houston Archeological and Historical Commission and understands all of the historic guidelines and processes. He has lived in Houston his entire life and is well acquainted with the history and character of all neighborhoods in the Greater Houston area. In his spare time, Stephen enjoys spending time at the lake. He also runs a small, non-profit organization dedicated to father/daughter relationships – www.fdtexas.org.
Belle
Belle is the official mascot and guard dog for Premier Remodeling and takes her duties very seriously.
Rob adopted Belle in March 2010 when she was about nine months old, and July 4th was thereafter proclaimed as her birthday. Belle is a big girl as she is a Bull Mastiff mix, but don’t let her size scare you. She’s one of the most friendly, lovable dogs you’ll ever meet.
Her favorite activities include taking long, luxurious naps throughout the day, showing off her smarts by shaking, sitting and laying for “treats”, going for walks on the beach and playing in the water (not too deep, though!), and letting everyone in the office know when a stranger approaches. She especially enjoys hanging out of our second story window and watching the children as they’re released from the school across the street at the end of the day.
Belle is definitely one of the Premier Remodeling family and everyone that comes into contact with her falls instantly in love.
On August 7, 2024, Belle passed over the Rainbow Bridge into fields of green grass and never-ending trails where she could run and go exploring without falling down or hurting anymore. Our hearts remain broken, but we’re so glad that Belle was able to share her sweet disposition and curious sniffs with so many of our clients. She will be missed forever.
Ozzy
Ozzy came to reside with Rob and Premier July of 2022. He was found alone in a dog park by our new Project Manager, Stephen McNiel, who brought him home and took him to the vet to get checked out. He wasn’t collared or chipped, so he knew of no one to contact. Rob had been looking for another dog to keep Belle company so when Stephen found Ozzy, it became clear he was destined to become part of the Premier family (actually it sounds like they both were!). He is an Australian cattle dog, hence his new name, “Ozzy”. Ozzy is very protective of his territory and his people and finds it necessary to bark and sniff at everyone coming into the office, but after a few minutes, he usually settles down. He loves chewing on ice and remote controls (bad dog!) and catching bits of food mid-air. He’s extremely playful and loves to give and receive affection.
